Designing the perfect battle board
I've recently moved and finally have the space to have a 40k battlefield (6 x 4 foot / 183 x 122 cm) but, like everyone, I have limited budget and not unlimited space plus I need to decide what features I want the most...

Genestealers - test desert scheme II
After painting up my Screamer Killer Carnifex I wasn't completely sure about the paint scheme, so I decided to experiment with a few alternatives on some Genestealers...

Screamer Killer Carnifex - test desert scheme
Some months ago, after the discovery of some of the original Tyranid warriors and Genestealers in an old, buried box, I decided to collect a retro Tyranid army built from 1st, 2nd and 3rd edition models. However, their unique toolbox of weaponry however can take a little bit of thought...

The distant past and a return to the Grim Darkness
In prehistoric times (I must have been 7 or 8) there was a board game called "Heroquest". Released by Games Workshop (GW) in '89 this game (long forgotten by most) was my introduction to the world of fantasy, miniatures and, in a basic form, war-gaming...
